True North Collection was born on a creative whim in early 2014 in the sunny seaside town of Newport Beach, California.  Cara, an avid runner and lover of all things healthy living used her love for creating and design + 8 years buying experience to start making fitness headbands in a little Etsy shop with big dreams.  It all began with an overflowing 'headband drawer' full of headbands that didn't work and a desire to create something that DID.  Her understanding of fashion + function led to True North Collection blooming into something special.  Our unique designs reflect who we are and the beachy-boho lifestyle we live daily.  

'We' are now Cara and Suzanne, a duo of mamas living out our creative dreams.  When we're not behind the sewing machines you may just find us running around town together...literally, as we've crossed the finish line of two marathons side x side <3
